V.P DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURING (DFM)-AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE:

Bullisher is a data centric fintech Solution provider in the aerospace and defense industry for institutional level investors, looking to disrupt and revolutionise a $3 trillion dollar industry. We spearhead an industrial-leading Blackbox to facilitate and administer trade agreements pioneered by a vehicle, driven by our new generation benchmark delivering solutions through innovation with uncompromising agility. Predicts trends in the aerospace and government defense entities, predicts trends in political shifts and the ability to influence actual effect changes in government policies through innovation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The oversight involves a superpower complex electronic design development platform for real-time data sharing and integrated platforms, facilitating seamless communication for collaborative complex designs with team members gathered across different environments. With our centralized platform sharing design updates and feedback, data security and compliance withITAR [International Trafficking in Arms Regulations]are critical to sharing sensitive design data with the manufacturing team while minimizing the risk of unauthorized access to our intellectual properties. Integration will be critical. Our perceived approach is whether it’s prototypes or scheduled ongoing production, all that will be visible in real-time. Procurement teams and engineers can gain clarity around exactly what’s going on down to the level of parts being procured, boards being produced, and shipped out. This is a very critical piece of information, therefore staying on top of the single source of truth is essential. You will run an entire hardware development process on one digital platform capturing the requirements, working with the same data model, and collaborating with the procurement team. Any changes to the design will undergo a formal approval, review, and be voted on by representatives for security impact analysis,THE C.A.B (CHANGE APPROVAL BOARD). Our posture is not just offensive; it’s an economic and livelihood posture to influence ongoing projections. For new design starts, as we transition from prototype to production, you will define alternatives for cost, materials that are available, and whether the design is manufacturable with the yield that we are looking for. Within our Data Matchmaking instant Artificial Intelligence platform, accurate pricing optimization and real-time versioning (e.g., change control; who designed it, when was it designed) accelerate time-to-market. Our seamless process allows engineers to engage in the early phases of the design, iterating through the design cycle, capturing changes, and getting real-time feedback with high levels of detail. Generate detailed design information and hand that over to the procurement teams within the platform, collaborating with each other and interacting with all participating engineers and the manufacturing pipeline to capture the nuances and design documentation necessary for fabricators, thereby closing the loops.

You will also be micromanaging the control system design engineers, system architects, optical engineers, lead hardware design engineers,EDAengineers,NPIengineers, andCADengineers. We are a startup enhancing the formation to the early stages of a product development project.

ENVIRONMENT:This position will operate in the regulatory engineering division of the organization.

MULTIDOMAIN DEFENCE DOCK:Standard engineering lab environment.

Space Industry Recruitment Trends 2025 (UK): What Job Seekers Need To Know About Today’s Hiring Process

Summary: UK space‑sector hiring has shifted from pedigree‑first screening to capability‑driven evaluation across the full stack—spacecraft systems, payload/RF, flight software, GNC/ADCS, propulsion, structures/thermal, AIT (assembly–integration–test), mission/ground operations, reliability/radiation, and compliance (ECSS, export control). Employers want proof you can build, test, operate and scale space systems safely and economically. This guide explains what’s changed, what to expect in interviews & how to prepare—especially for satellite/spacecraft engineers, payload & RF/MM‑wave, flight & ground software, GNC/ADCS, power/thermal, AIT/test, mission ops, data/EO, and space product/TPM roles. Who this is for: Systems engineers, payload/RF engineers, flight software & FDIR, GNC/ADCS, power/thermal/structures, propulsion, AIT/test, reliability/radiation, QA/compliance, ground segment/cloud, mission operations, EO/data processing, and product/programme managers targeting roles in the UK space ecosystem.

Why Space Careers in the UK Are Becoming More Multidisciplinary

The UK’s space sector is growing fast — from satellite systems and Earth observation to satellite communications, space robotics, propulsion, space data analytics, and mission operations. But the nature of space work is changing. Projects involving satellites, launch systems, space robotics and ground infrastructure are now embedded in regulation, public perception, human interaction and cross-disciplinary design. Space careers in the UK used to be dominated by engineers, astrophysicists, systems analysts and telemetry experts. Today, they increasingly demand fluency not only in aerospace, software, electronics & data, but also in law, ethics, psychology, linguistics & design. After all, space systems operate under treaties, privacy constraints, public scrutiny, international collaborations and human interfaces. In this article, we explore why space careers in the UK are becoming more multidisciplinary, how those allied fields intersect with space work, and what job-seekers & employers must do to thrive in this evolving cosmos.

UK Space Team Structures Explained: Who Does What in a Modern Space Department

The UK space sector is rapidly expanding. With growth in satellite design, Earth observation, communications, launch systems, space science, downstream applications, and regulatory and operational services, there’s rising demand for skilled professionals across many disciplines. Building a high-impact space organisation requires well-defined team structures, clear roles, strong collaboration, and alignment across engineering, science, operations, regulation, and commercial functions. If you are applying for roles via UKSpaceJobs.co.uk or hiring into your company, this guide will help you understand the principal roles you’ll find in a space team, how they interact during mission lifecycles, what skills UK employers expect, salary norms, common challenges, and best practice for structuring space teams that succeed.
