Job Title: Vehicle Dynamics Engineer

Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire

Rate: £26.65ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £20.35ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until March 2026)

Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week

Job Description:

Join the vehicle dynamics team with our client to deliver the ride, steering and handling of future world class vehicles. The role is focused on supporting the tuning and integration of all aspects of dynamics attribute delivery from concept to production. You will gain experience across multiple vehicle dynamics disciplines while supporting the Senior Engineer in the delivery but also be expected to manage and deliver technical projects.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics and a keen interest in driving and subjective evaluation. Role will require significant travel through the EU to meet testing and business meeting requirements.

Skills Required:

  1. Understanding of the fundamentals of Vehicle Dynamics (Experience or/and theory).
  2. Experience of vehicle development tools, subjective/objective development, CAE tools, system level/component testing.
  3. Must have a high level of driving competence.
  4. UK driving license is a must.
  5. Must pass all our client's driving courses.

Experience Required:

  1. Degree or relevant experience in engineering.
  2. Understanding of the fundamentals of Vehicle Dynamics (Experience or/and theory).
  3. Must have UK driving license.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Expected to manage project delivery and have a 'can do' attitude.

Experience Preferred:

  1. Previous experience tuning vehicles.
  2. Demonstrated driving skills (driving courses, race experience etc.).
  3. Previous project management experience.
  4. Vehicle Dynamics course.
  5. Knowledge of PCDS/AMPCS etc.

Additional Information:

Hybrid working: To be confirmed.

Must be able to travel to EU.
