Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for multidrop delivery drivers on an ongoing basis starting ASAP for a well-established business based in Castle Donington.

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, teamwork, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations.

  • Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

  • Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.

  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

    Requirements

  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is essential.

  • Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours as required by the delivery schedule.

  • Minimum 2 years van driving experience

    Pay/ Salary:

  • Pay rate is £12.21 per hour Paye
