Our client are a world leader in Smart power, systems and robotics. They are seeking a UPS service engineer to join their ever growing team, the role would be based from home and provide onsite support to customers across the UK. The client are recognised as Top UK employer.


Key Responsibilities – UPS Service Engineer

  • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.
  • Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
  • Preparing material lists needed for repairs and upgrades and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
  • Diagnosing equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.


Qualifications & Experience – UPS Service Engineer

  • Relevant Electronic qualification with experience of power electronics.
  • 2 years working as field engineer on UPS systems or working on other electronic systems such as drives or similar technology.
  • Experience working on high powered UPS and with large data centre customers.
  • Valid driving license in the UK.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Personal organization skills with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Experience in all Microsoft office applications.
