Temporary Accommodation Officer – Bristol (Hybrid) – £19.34 LTD / £16.72 PAYE – Full-Time, Rolling Contract
I'm currently working on behalf of a local authority client who is looking for an experienced Temporary Accommodation Officer to join their Housing Options team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong housing management and support experience to help deliver a vital frontline service.
📍 Location: Windermere, Southmead (with regular cover at Trinity Lodge, Montpelier)
⏰ Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
💰 Rate: £19.34 per hour LTD / £16.72 PAYE
📅 Contract: Rolling temporary contract
🔎 DBS: Enhanced DBS required
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of homeless households, delivering high-quality housing management and support services across temporary accommodation, including satellite units.
Ensure timely move-ons from TA through comprehensive advice on housing options.
Take ownership of rent recovery, arrears management, sign-ups, voids, repairs, and tenancy sustainment.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support performance objectives including void turnaround, income collection, and KPI targets.About You:

Previous experience in housing management or supporting residents in temporary accommodation.
Strong understanding of homelessness legislation and the Code of Guidance.
Able to work independently, manage a varied caseload, and liaise effectively with partners.
Confident in handling arrears, tenancy issues, and property management tasks.
