Hyde Coatings Ltd is currently recruiting a Trainee Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer based at one of our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge on a day shift. As a Trainee Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer, you will be trained in the application of paint and coatings to various aircraft components. This is a hands-on, learning-intensive role where you will receive on-the-job training and guidance from our experienced team to develop your skills in the aviation coatings industry.

Key Responsibilities:



Train to assist in preparing and masking aircraft components prior to paint application.

Support the team with important paperwork and route cards.

*

Learn the process of selecting and mixing paint, primers, and coatings according to specifications.

*

Train to apply paint and coatings to aircraft components using spray guns and other tools.

*

Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

*

Train to monitor and assess the quality of paint finishes, ensuring they meet industry standards.

*

Support the team in performing maintenance tasks on spraying equipment and section.

*

Keep accurate records of paint and coating processes.

*

Participate in continuous learning and skill development to advance in the role.

Requirements:

No prior experience necessary – this is a trainee role, so full training will be provided.

*

Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality work.

*

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

*

A keen interest in aircraft, engineering, or aviation.

*

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

*

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

*

A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety.
