Overview

EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading global precision manufacturer that supplies complex components to the Aerospace, Defence and Power industries. Due to the recent fast-paced growth of the business, our client is looking for TIG Welders to join their manufacturing department.

Stability / Longevity

Competitive hourly rate: up to £18 per hour

*

Day shift - 07.00 to 16.00 or 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07.00 to 12.00 on Fridays, with designated breaks

*

Overtime is available at premium rates

*

Additional benefits included

Your responsibilities as a TIG Welder include:

*

Welds sheet metal and machined parts per procedures.

*

Reads data cards/drawings for machine setup.

*

Sets up machines with required tooling/fixturing.

*

Completes welding efficiently to meet output.

*

Skilled in TIG, measuring, and hand tools.

What experience as a TIG Welder do you need?

*

Minimum 3 years experience working on precision engineering components within an engineering or manufacturing environment

*

Experience working to Aerospace standards

*

Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings with welding symbols/WPS

*

Capable of working with thin gauge materials (0.4mm - 1mm)

*

Worked with small to medium-sized parts (12" - 14")

*

Experienced in performing various welding techniques
