The Role - Test Equipment Calibration Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician with extensive expertise in test equipment sustainment and calibration to join a prominent engineering business in Wolverhampton.
You will be tasked with the calibration and sustainment of deployed Test Equipment covering full product lifecycle across the production engineering department.
The systems involved span mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution domains, so a universal engineering background would be beneficial.

Duties - Test Equipment Calibration Technician

Perform calibration activities on measuring instrumentation
Maintain and adjust electronic instrumentation
Perform maintenance on active test equipment hardware
Support calibration of new Test Equipment Systems
Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation
Work closely with engineers to investigate and resolve issues affecting production
Support root cause investigations related to Test Equipment Systems or components
Assist with internal and external quality audits of deployed Test Systems or sub-components
Background - Test Equipment Calibration Technician

Level 3 Engineering qualification (Minimum)
Test Equipment calibration experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications
Electrical qualification (18th Edition/ BS7671) – desirable
