£40,000 + TRAINING + BENEFITS

Due to continued success in the region and the winning of new contracts, my client are looking to add to their impressive team with the addition of a Test Engineer.

We are looking for an Test Engineer to join the team. You will be working on a range of exciting projects, serving sectors such as Aerospace, Energy, Education and Marine.

If you're a passionate Test Engineer wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in an established company, this could be the role for you.


THE ROLE:

  • Electromechanical testing of the product range.
  • Product set-up and calibration.
  • Support with the review and assessment for suitability of new Procedures.
  • Working with Production and Engineering to feedback details of defects or design challenges.
  • Mechanical checks to engineering assembly drawings
  • Reporting and submitting issues, rework, and non-conformances to the Operations team
  • Reporting potential engineering changes to drawings and schematics to relevant party
  • Engaging with quality improvement activities
  • Communicating errors and issues to production staff members clearly and professionally
  • Focus on keeping quality improvement a priority; from design through to manufacture based upon feedback.

THE PERSON:

  • Experience within Quality/Testing department.
  • Proficient at reading schematics / mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment - Multimeter etc.
  • Experience using manual inspection equipment - Digital Calipers and Micrometers.
  • Quality driven mindset.
  • High level of competency working with Microsoft office.
