As the Lead Technical & Customer Support Specialist with a market leader in vehicle safety systems you will lead, manage, support, guide and train the Technical Support team to deliver excellent customer service and technical knowledge.Your role will encompass all elements of technical support from the pre-sales assistance through to aftersales trouble shooting, over the phone, via email and through web-based tools. This role requires a technical background (NVQ electrical/electronic/automotive) and excellent customer service skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:
-Manage, lead and support team members including line management, day-to-day work, recruitment, training and development.
Managing the incoming calls and emails for technical support and advice, troubleshooting technical issues
-Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to understand their technical needs and expectations.
Developing the department’s technical support training, initiatives, processes, and systems (KPIs)
Your Profile:
-NVQ level 3 with a technical emphasis on electrical/electronic/automotive (or equivalent)
-Experience in a ‘lead’ customer support role with a technical focus & line management responsibility. Experience in a ttechnical services field role within the commercial vehicle / off highway market highly desirable
-Good level of DC circuit knowledge.
-Methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
