My client, a leader in thermoformed plastic solutions, is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team and drive growth across key industries including automotive, aerospace, and leisure.

They specialise in high-quality, lightweight plastic components made through advanced vacuum forming and compression moulding. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a solid technical understanding of manufacturing and materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop New Business: Identify, approach, and win new customers across multiple sectors.

  • Manage Key Accounts: Build strong, lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Understand Client Needs: Translate customer requirements into tailored, commercially viable solutions.

  • Drive the Sales Process: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, technical quotes, and presentations.

  • Collaborate Internally: Work closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure feasibility and delivery alignment.

  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed of competitor activity and emerging opportunities to shape our sales strategy.

    What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in plastics, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.

  • Solid knowledge of thermoforming, vacuum forming, or compression moulding processes.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and close deals.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specs.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
