We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer with a focus on Electronic Testability Services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining and optimizing test equipment, deploying diagnostic strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production test activities.

Requirements

Electronic Testability Services:

  • Define and document test equipment requirements for products, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and production needs.
  • Develop and implement diagnostic strategies to optimize testability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Analyse and improve test systems to achieve efficient and accurate fault diagnosis and isolation.

Test Coverage and Quality Assurance:

  • Verify and validate test coverage for current and future products, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and work with design teams to address them proactively.
  • Monitor test performance metrics and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Collaboration and Production Support:

  • Partner with Manufacturing and Production Design Support teams to plan and execute production test activities.
  • Provide technical expertise to address challenges in production testing and resolve diagnostic issues.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of test strategies into production workflows.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for test equipment, procedures, and strategies.
  • Generate reports on test coverage, diagnostic performance, and production test outcomes for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in electronic testability design and implementation, preferably in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic systems, test coverage analysis, and production test equipment.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, such as Automated Test Equipment (ATE), diagnostic software, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments and familiarity with industry standards for testability.
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming for test automation.
  • Certification in systems engineering or a related discipline.
