About the Role

We're looking for a Systems Engineer with strong technical capability and a passion for delivering high-quality systems across the full engineering lifecycle. You'll be instrumental in writing, managing, and deriving system requirements, performing integration and validation activities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we exceed customer and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Derive and manage system requirements from customer needs and business objectives
Write design documents and functional requirements in line with industry and internal standards
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system development
Conduct system integration and testing activities to verify and validate functionality
Evaluate interfaces and integration plans using electrical and software ICDs
Prepare and maintain system engineering plans, procedures, and test reports
Recommend system enhancements and ensure continuous improvement

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

A strong communicator and collaborator
Analytical and detail-focused with a passion for problem-solving
Self-driven, proactive, and organised with excellent planning skills
Able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Eligible for or already holds SC-level security clearance

Skills & Experience

Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle
Strong background in writing and managing technical requirements
Hands-on experience with system integration and testing
Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or similar modelling platformsExperience working on complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects (preferably in defence, aerospace, or transport domains)
