To support their ambitious objectives, the business is seeking a talented Systems Engineer with proven expertise in managing complex projects and designing and integrating advanced system architectures. This is a multi-faceted position where you will define systems requirements and managing interfaces, develop and maintain documentation systems, propose innovative solution for design challenges, meet high-level requirements in a regulated and demanding environment. Due to the complexity and scope of this project, we are seeking candidates with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects in highly regulated industries such as nuclear energy, aerospace and defense, space exploration, etc.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead the systems engineering efforts for the entire project, including defining system requirements, developing system architectures, validation and verification, and managing system interfaces.

Defining the business systems engineering framework.

Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to ensure integration and compatibility of subsystems.

Develop and maintain system documentation, including specifications, design documents, interface control documents.

Implement system-level testing and verification to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.

Ensure proper QA and data processes are developed to support and streamline the eventual licensing of the project.

Your Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering, ideally in large-scale engineering projects.

PhD in relevant engineering discipline is preferred but not essential.

Hands-on experience in system architecture design, integration, and testing.

Competent user of systems engineering tools and methodologies.

Proficiency in requirements management and flow-down, configuration management, and risk management

Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices

Proficiency in Risk Analysis and Failure Mode Analysis

Ability to multi-task and lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex engineering projects.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
