About Skyports
Founded in 2018, Skyports is an Advanced Air Mobility company developing and operating landing infrastructure for the electric air taxi revolution, as well as using drones to solve the world's most complex problems across delivery, survey and inspection.

Our business is comprised of two entities:

  • Skyports Drone Services, where we use drone technology to enable businesses to develop their logistics, capture key data, and improve operational efficiency. We are active in rural deliveries, survey, surveillance, and maritime verticals.
  • Skyports Infrastructure, where we play a critical role in the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem; designing, building, owning, and operating vertiports that enable eVTOL operators to take off and land in and around cities across the world.

We are positioned in a new industry where it has never been a more exciting time to be at the forefront of a modern, high-growth organization.

The Opportunity
Based in London, we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, passionate and experienced Account Manager to lead Skyports Drone Services' projects expansion in the survey and inspection industry. You will be the face of our multi-year contracts with major utilities companies, responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of our inspection operations and the data outputs from the inspections completed.

You will:

  • Be the primary point of contact for Skyports' delivery of multi-year linear asset inspection projects.
  • Work across all teams internally to ensure operations take place on time and on budget.
  • Monitor external suppliers closely to ensure operations are safe and that data processing is completed within the contractual timelines.
  • Support the Business Development team with your expertise to secure additional or follow-on projects with new or existing customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to monitor customer satisfaction.

Your success will be measured by:

  • The timely delivery of linear asset inspection operations and data analysis for customers across the UK.
  • The ability to work independently and take full ownership of challenges.
  • Customer satisfaction for our delivery of large scale inspection projects.
  • Adherence to existing processes and the ability to implement new processes where problems arise.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven experience in managing large scale (1000km+) linear asset inspection services - either in drone or helicopter operations.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the challenges when capturing inspection data (LiDAR, NADIR, etc).
  • Experience in managing external suppliers to ensure deliverables are provided on time and to the standard required.
  • A track record of success in high-growth companies.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries.
  • Experience in the drone industry or familiarity with the aviation and/or drone industries.
  • A strong ability to embrace discomfort and navigate ambiguity in a nascent industry.
  • An understanding of the UK drone regulatory environment is desirable.

Why work for Skyports
We work on the basis of trust and partnership here at Skyports. As a new and emerging business, we aim to support our team members to make working life as fun, productive, and engaging as possible. Joining our team, you can expect to benefit from:

  • A market competitive salary.
  • Flexible holiday: we don't put limits on success.
  • The opportunity to work with a business that is trying to make our world a better place to live.
  • A strong company culture.
  • Working at the forefront of new technologies.
  • Hybrid Working Environment.

How To Apply
Apply with a detailed and specific cover letter. Include in your cover letter what you believe is the biggest challenge of using BVLOS drone operations to inspect linear assets. Applications with no cover letter or copy-and-paste generic content will not be considered.
