Your Role

Are you an engineering-savvy quality leader with a sharp eye for detail and a talent for turning supplier challenges into success stories? Join us in Portsmouth as a Supply Chain Quality Manager, where your aviation expertise, audit know-how, and relationship-building skills will take centre stage. You’ll lead supplier audits, drive compliance across the board, and work closely with tricky suppliers to elevate performance and ensure seamless delivery. In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Lead supply chain quality efforts in the aviation sector, leveraging engineering expertise to manage compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions to ensure adherence to industry standards and customer requirements.

  • Navigate complex supplier relationships, resolving challenges and building strong, collaborative partnerships.

  • Act as a key quality liaison, ensuring seamless integration between supply chain operations and engineering teams.

    Your Profile

    • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS/EN 9100).
    • Proficiency in quality core tools (e.g., APQP, FAI, 8D analysis, IPCA+, CCP tools).
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Familiarity with risk management principles.
