Supply Chain Coordinator

Belcan is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team, on a permanent basis, to provide purchasing support within our Cheltenham office. Our Supply Chain Coordinators are crucial to ensuring that the purchasing function is managed to achieve agreed delivery, quality and cost targets.

What will my average workday look like?

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the negotiation and monitoring of contract progression throughout the supply chain. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be able to source alternative supply options, new product opportunities and savings, conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers. Occasional client visits will be required to build and maintain positive relationships. You will offer support to our Project Management and Engineering Management teams, quoting activities and forecasting for future projects.

What skills and experience will I need for this role?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supply chain or procurement in a manufacturing environment, supported by strong MS office and order / invoicing systems, inventory control experience and with supplier evaluation and performance management. Previous experience in buying / purchasing within the Electronics domain would be advantageous as would relevant procurement qualifications.

Electronics buying experience
Degree in relevant discipline
CIPS professional qualification
Experience of conducting supplier audits
