JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a newly created team of five, we aim to design a smart approach for smart building infrastructure, planning, constructing, and maintaining our network infrastructure prioritized at the same level as other systems and utilities through technology enablement programmes. Establishing industrial standards and best practices, areas to cover include: Edge data Centers, power & energy, sustainability, and testing processes such asTier-1andTier-2testing fromANSI/TIA-526-14, IEC 61280-4-1, IETIA-568.3-Erequirements. We focus on cabling configuration, test methods, and test reference cords, ensuring life & property safety, health & safety, and well-being of staff support.

Our specific focus is on indoor networks and the best approach for connectivity within operational facilities to accomplish our goals. We aim to design a criteria to reintegrate existing infrastructure into a highly capable network. Connected industrial and military systems require different specific data communications patterns, including real-time command and control, live streaming sensor data, and large amounts of data for analytics. Data distribution should be well suited for all communication patterns as specified by service policies.

Areas to cover:command & control systems, wireless networks, security, network switches, CCTVs, thermal cameras, AVs, fiber fencing, and digital directories, all connecting to smart indoor converged networks to meet operational requirements. Our goal is to ensure everything is smart and connected, automated, and user-centric to deliver applications around health and security.

This number of components may change, and data usage might evolve over time. An additional value will drive new requirements and features, from the edge where command & controls are effective to the edge data centre where data analytics are performed, such as predictive maintenance and continuous process improvement.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS SET:

  • Proficient in designing smart buildings projects for digital systems and smart infrastructure.
  • Proven record in building upgrades as part of a capital plan project, e.g., building automation systems, security upgrades, smart converged networks.
  • 15+ years highly experienced in smart cabling architecture, network security support for infrastructure engineering, and wireless connectivity.
  • Highly skilled and knowledgeable in the area ofIOMT.
  • Experience in implementing a well-planned, well-designed smart building network automation system, connected wirelessly, with fiber optic backroom networks.
  • Must have a fullU.K.driver's license(required).
  • Extensive experience and authorizedICTlicensed.
  • Certification:(BICSI RCDD, PMP),CISSP,CND,ISSEP,CEH,CHFI,CCSP,OSCP, and one of the listedDoD 8570 Certifications.
