We are a leading organization in the space technology sector, dedicated to designing, developing, and operating world-class space missions for global customers. Our integrated business unit focuses on advancing our space ambitions by delivering innovative satellite systems and space data products.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will work with customers, suppliers, our leadership team, engineers, and project managers to ensure the structural integrity and performance of our spacecraft. This role demands a broad range of mechanical engineering expertise, including structural design and analysis, payload analysis, and a strong understanding of testing and validation best practices.

Ensure the structural integrity of spacecraft under your direct supervision. Correctly interpret structural requirements from launch authorities and standards agencies. Prepare Finite Element Models (FEMs) and perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Perform structural optimization activities. Participate in peer review meetings to validate and enhance design approaches. Engage in research and development activities to foster innovation. Support mechanical test campaigns to validate structural designs.

As our Structural Analysis Engineer, you will have experience in a broad range of mechanical engineering tasks, including:

Familiarity with launch vehicle user manuals, particularly with inertial loading, vibration theory (harmonic and random), shock, and acoustics. Understanding of relevant engineering technical standards from ECSS and NASA. Expertise in methods and approaches for spacecraft-level mechanical analysis and testing. Knowledge of structural mechanics and vibration theory. Proficiency in fastener mechanics and failure modes. Experience with novel structural materials, such as composites, and methods to analyze and test these materials. Understanding of micro-vibration and its impacts. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Confidence in working within project delivery and bid teams. Ability to interpret outputs of analysis engineers (FEA) to understand design capabilities. Experience with a FEM package, preferably NASTRAN / FEMAP.

This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic, self-starting individual who enjoys working on various activities, from technical studies to small spacecraft systems and subsystems. As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will work as part of a team delivering projects to institutional, academic, and commercial customers. You will manage your priorities independently, support others as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your role will also involve staying updated on space industry developments and proactively identifying business and technology promotion opportunities.

Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options. Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. Participation in groundbreaking space missions with global impact.
