Job Description

Are you an experiencedStress Engineerlooking to work oncritical aircraft components? JoinALTEN UKand contribute to themaintenance and structural analysisofmajor commercial aircraft programmes, including single-aisle and wide-body jets. You'll play a key role instructural integrity assessments, utilizingPatran, Nastran, and Ansysto ensurehigh-performance, safety-critical designsin the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Performstructural analysisonmetallic and composite aircraft components
UtilizePatran, Nastran, and Ansysforfinite element analysis (FEA)and stress calculations
SupportTAM (Tooling, Assembly & Manufacturing) activitiesfor efficient maintenance solutions
Ensure compliance withaerospace safety standards and structural integrity requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering challenges
Document and present analysis findings for certification and approval

Qualifications

Key Skills & Experience:

5+ yearsexperience inStress Engineeringwithinaerospace
• Proficiency inPatran, Nastran, and AnsysforFEA and stress analysis
• Strong understanding ofmetallic and composite structures
• Experience withTAM (Tooling, Assembly & Manufacturing) activities
