Carbon60 are currently looking for a Stores Operative to join a client of ours based on the Airbus site in Chester. This position is a 12 week temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Working Hours/Shift Pattern: Can do 8:30am - 4:30pm OR 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, 30 mins break/day, 37.5 hours/week

Pay/Salary: £11.44/hour, will rise with national minimum wage increase in April 2025, overtime available 1.5 x Monday - Saturday, 2x Sunday

Main duties & responsibilities:

Adherence at all times to strict standards of H&S during all working hours - induction and daily H&S meeting provided on procedures and policies in place. Must be treated with the up most importance and priority.
Liaising with customers on-site
Receipting goods-in and booking goods-out
Stock checking
Delivering stock around site, to local suppliers and completing collections as required using company vehicle
Operating to 5s standards across the stores
Maintaining 5s standards across satellite stores on-site
Driving around site to different depts, off-site collections and delivery to suppliers in company vehicle - driver's check required on offer Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

Active UK clean driving license required
Stores/Warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
Able to demonstrate a good work ethic and follow instructions and H&S guidance promptly
Excellent communication skills for customer facing responsibilities
Basic level of IT Literacy skills for data entry and professional email correspondenceAbout our client:
