Job summary

The Community and Wellbeing network are able to offer an exciting opportunity for a band 5 registered nurse to work within the Central Lancashire Moving Well service.

The post is primarily based at the Minerva Health Centre and our satellite clinic at Chorley.

Main duties of the job

The main purpose of this post is to support the running of our rheumatology outpatient service, administration of intravenous medications which are used to treat various rheumatological conditions and support our blood monitoring service for patients with various rheumatological conditions. You will work alongside our wider MDT including consultants, specialist nurses, AHPs HCAs and admin post is a full time position covering Monday - Friday excluding bank holidays.

Applications are open to those who may not meet the person specification currently but are able to demonstrate appropriate experience and knowledge and are willing to working towards achieving the necessary requirements.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

First level Registration NMC Ability to provide evidence of Continuing Professional Development

Knowledge

Cannulation and Venepuncture Ability to work both independently and as a team member Ability to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills

Experience

Post registration qualification in healthcare related subject Teaching Qualification ENB 998 Cert Ed or equivalent

Skills

Essential

Able to be self motivated and motivate others A special interest in working with people with long term conditions Must be willing to develop competencies within the scope of professional practice to meet service needs
