An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented spacecraft operations engineer to join a pioneering company that builds and deploys satellites into orbit. This role offers hybrid working arrangements, with three days on-site in Alton, and a competitive salary of up to £55,000.

The spacecraft operations engineer will play a crucial role in the operations of satellites, ensuring their successful deployment and functionality in orbit. This position requires a strong background in spacecraft operations and a passion for aerospace technology. The spacecraft operations engineer will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers and scientists to maintain and optimize satellite performance.

The spacecraft operations engineer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling satellite systems, ensuring their optimal performance and addressing any anomalies. The spacecraft operations engineer will assist in the development and execution of mission plans, ensuring that all operational objectives are met. Working closely with other engineers and team members, the spacecraft operations engineer will contribute to the seamless integration and operation of satellite systems. The spacecraft operations engineer will provide technical support for satellite operations, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to maintain system integrity. The spacecraft operations engineer will actively participate in the development of best practices and operational procedures to enhance overall mission success. Strong experience in spacecraft operations and satellite technology. Proficiency in satellite systems, mission planning, and operations control. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to address and resolve technical challenges. Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information.

Offering up to £55,000 plus benefits.
