Holt Executive are delighted to be partnered with a global leader within the Communication/ Technology & Connectivity space to support a critical Solutions / Pre-Sales Engineer - SATCOM hire.

Our partner is looking for an experienced Solutions / Pre-Sales Engineering professional to provide networking and satellite communications solutions concepts, detailed solutions design, systems integration, maintenance program development and training solutions. 

These activities are supporting commercial proposals, bids or tender responses in support of the sales teams. The primary customer within the business area our government/Military. (Air, Land and Sea)

Key Responsibilities for the Solutions / Pre-Sales Engineer – SATCOM:

Provision of timely and insightful technical input and/or proof of concept design into the preparation of tender responses.
Provision of satellite solutions designs and satellite systems integration expertise to clients in support of Government sales and operations teams.
Specification, documentation and implementation of hardware solutions for IP networking over satellite.
Provision of senior engineering level support and technical mentoring to engineers.
Interact with multiple engineering capabilities (internal and external) and customers to ensure requirements are understood and customer needs are met.
Provision of training and technical presentations.Key Experience required for the Solutions / Pre-Sales Engineer – SATCOM:

Must hold a relevant engineering degree, with a demonstrated ability in the satellite communications industry.
Must have demonstrable experience in developing solutions in a pre-sales environment (bids/RFT’s/ RFQ’s).
Ability to interact with multifunctional teams to drive customer solution delivery.
Proficient in the development of maintenance documentation and support programmes for developed solutions based on OEM component documentation. This role offers Hybrid working. 1-2 days onsite per week.
