Expleo is seeking a dynamic and innovative Solutions and Implementation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis, working on-site at the Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) in Wolverhampton. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of logistics transformation, contributing to cutting-edge automation and material flow strategies.

You will play a key role in implementing logistics solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support the adoption of advanced automation technologies such as AGVs, ASRS, and intelligent pick systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class logistics solutions aligned with strategic goals.

  • Support the development and execution of the Material Flow and Automation Strategy.

  • Identify and implement innovative technologies through benchmarking and research.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive process improvements.

  • Lead or support facility changes and installation programs.

  • Communicate new ideas effectively and influence stakeholders to adopt modern logistics methodologies.

    What We’re Looking For

    Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing projects and working with external suppliers.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of material flow principles and logistics strategies.

  • Experience in facility change and installation programs.

    Desirable:

  • Background in the automotive or logistics industry.

  • Experience with automation technologies (AGVs, ASRS).

  • Contractor management experience.

  • Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
