EDGECAM is Hexagon’s market-leading computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system for NC part programming in production machining and heavy industry. Combining the power of sophisticated toolpath generation with seamless CAD integration, it is used to make components for spacecraft, race cars, wind turbines, and much more.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our agile scrum team continuing to develop EDGECAM software - addressing market needs, extending functionality, and integrating with Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence's extended software portfolio.

This is a senior individual contributor role with no people management responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Developing full Windows desktop graphical engineering software package integrating with our back-end components and cloud services
  2. Enhancing and maintaining existing software solutions, refactoring or creating modules as required
  3. Being responsible for a high-quality and high-performance implementation of the software developed by you
  4. Designing and implementing engineering algorithms using C++
  5. As an agile Scrum team, working together to complete all tasks for planned software development projects for our global customer base
  6. Mastering the core programming languages and technologies used in your areas of the software
