Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

O'Neill & Brennan are working on behalf of a growing construction firm to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team, specialising in fitout and refurbishment projects. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and the opening of a new satellite office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring financial control from tender through to final account. Given the fast-paced nature of the fitout sector, the ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and manage changing priorities is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing project costs, budgets, and valuations
Preparing and negotiating subcontractor packages
Monitoring project variations and identifying financial risks
Collaborating with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions
Conducting site visits and liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Overseeing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the fitout/refurbishment sector is advantagous 
Ability to work independently and make commercial decisions confidently
Strong financial management and negotiation skills
Experience handling multiple projects with shifting priorities
