A growing engineering company at the forefront of delivering advanced technical solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their expanding Programmes Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead projects across a range of UK and international programmes.

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of project delivery, steering complex, high-stakes initiatives from planning through to execution. You’ll be the key interface with customers, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring that every phase meets performance, quality, and compliance standards. Working closely with the Project Controller and Head of Programmes, you’ll ensure robust reporting and control processes are in place to drive delivery success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across all programmes.

Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders.

Facilitate regular internal and external project meetings to ensure alignment.

Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and security classifications.

Monitor budgets and control project costs to ensure financial accountability.

Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to measure and report on project performance.

Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical queries and ensure deliverables meet requirements.

Ensure all programmatic and technical aspects of the project align with the defined scope of work.

Key Requirements

Formal Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or equivalent experience.

Strong track record of project delivery in complex.

Experience in or exposure to regulated industries such as Medical, Aerospace, Automotive and Defence and procurement frameworks (highly desirable).

Eligible to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (mandatory).

The Package

Offering up to £70,000 plus benefits including hybrid working, flexible working hours and private healthcare. Relocation assistance is also offered
