BRIEF OVERVIEW

• Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Working type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days working from home)
  
  We are looking for multiple Mechanical Engineers to develop fascinating projects in the field of electrified propulsion across a range of industries such as automotive, aerospace and defence.
  
  You will be working with a business which is growing every year due to the great work which is done internally. You'll be focusing on areas such as propulsion and actuation within the area of electrified technology. The projects range from very small to very large and apply to various fields such as land, air and water-based vehicles.
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES
  
• Work alongside other mechanical engineers on projects with OEMs and Tier 1 companies
  
• Undertake simulation and design activities
  
• Deliver technical work in projects from small to large
  
• Take part in design, calculation, analysis, simulation and drawings
  
• Use knowledge of materials , processes and designs to create components
  
• Be able to work with a good level of autonomy
  
• Take ownership of proposals/quotes
  
• Present influential material to various stakeholders
  
• Managing workloads within small-medium projects
  
  REQUIREMENTS
  
• Experience with transmission systems design/analysis
  
• Rotating system/components design
  
• Able to handle small-medium sized projects (technical and commercial)
  
• Usage of CAD/software systems (such as NX, Inventor, CATIA, SMT MASTA, Romax, etc)
  
• Usage of simulation packages (such as MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, etc.)
  
  DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL)
  
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  
• Awareness of commercials within engineering businesses
  
• Able to speak multiple languages
  
• Knowledge of powertrains or precision engineering
