Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Manufacturing/Creo)
Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
£40 - £44 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35
12 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer from a manufacturing background with Creo experience who is looking for a lead role working on a range of innovative projects with a market leading business.

Do have experience taking products from concept design through to production? Are you looking for a varied role leading a team on state of the art projects?

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be working as part of an established team where you will be working on a range of projects from cradle to grave. You will be working to design new components as well as developing existing products. They use Creo as their design software but previous experience with similar 3D CAD packages will be considered. This role will be working 37 hours a week and allows for hybrid working but with a minimum requirement of three days a week on site.

The Role:

  • Working on a range of innovative design and development projects
  • Leading a design team taking projects from cradle to grave
  • Long term 12 month contract with hybrid working opportunities

The Person:

  • Senior Design Engineer from a background in the automotive, aerospace or manufacturing sectors
  • Previous experience working with Creo or a similar 3D CAD package
  • Looking for a long term 12 month contract with a market leading company
