My client is an established and growing supplier of bespoke safety critical products to multiple high-reliability sectors. Due to the increasing demand for one of their flagship products, the business has embarked upon a new period of growth meaning new and exciting opportunities are being recruited.

This innovative manufacturing business is now looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to develop and enhance the CNC function.

As a Manufacturing Engineer specialising in CNC operations, you will play a pivotal role in scaling production capabilities. You will work closely with the production planner to ensure bespoke customer demands are met within satisfactory timeframes. This position requires a hands-on approach, a deep understanding of CNC machining, and the ability to lead and develop a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance the CNC function within the business.
Work in synergy with the production planner to meet bespoke customer demands on time.
Grow, train, and manage the CNC team, including operators and programmers.
Develop, test, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scaled production.
Implement automation solutions to streamline production processes.Skills and Experience Required:

Proven experience in small component manufacturing for high-reliability sectors.
Proficiency in CNC Turning to 0.005 tolrence.
Hands-on experience with 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines.
Strong programming skills.
Degree qualified.Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
Experience with implementing automation in manufacturing processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits:
