JOB DESCRIPTION:


The oversight requires systematic mapping ofGRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance)to ensure cybersecurity policies and processes are maintained effectively, avoiding duplication of effort and clarifying focus for sharedITand engineering resources. Areas to cover will include:



  1. Corporate Governance:Appropriate internal controls, processes, and policies to meetGRCobjectives, ensuring engineering teams meet development velocity while managing IP risk.
  2. Risk:A team of three will create and implement policies, interpret requirements, and structure approaches to demonstrate compliance status.
  3. Legal Support:Changes in firewalls, rules supporting workflows, data governance, encryption, and complex automation.
  4. Training & Development:Create a supportive environment for process mapping exercises for existing processes, standards, and policies.


INTERVIEW PROCESS:



  • STAGE 1:PRE-SCREENING (verification checks & DV security clearance)
  • STAGE 2:INTERVIEW WITH THE CEO & GC


QUALIFICATION, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSET:



  • 7-10 years of PQE in a similar position within the defense procurement/system engineering/software & product counsel for SaaS/cloud lawyer/technology lawyer.
  • A qualified lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction, with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience, either in-house or in private practice.
