As a Senior Game Systems Designer You Will:

Take ownership over a large, complex system and make plans for how to implement it within the game while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders (Programming, Animation, AI, Level Design, Narrative, Art and others) and driving development towards the vision laid out by the Producer; Create, standardize and maintain design documentation, including feature specification and implementation guidelines, considering the project stage; Create game systems that answer the needs of the Producer with regard to the targeted experience for the player, while observing the production directives of the game. Conceptualize new end-to-end game systems, modeling an overall game pace and balance Define game specifications from initial concept to launch to maximize user retention Design and map out game progression from a systems perspective Provide clear feature documentation, diagrams, calculation models, analyses, wireframes, and/or prototypes Iterate, polish and balance player progression and experience Design, develop, and maintain systems such as items, reward loops, crafting recipes, and more Tune and balance of game data Be the vision holder for one or more features which span the game Create high level presentation materials for pitching concepts to product stakeholders Produce low level specifications for feature costing and production schematics Design and model complex game systems based on high-level concepts Review and adjust designs based on user testing and telemetry data

Requirements:
Proven track record of designing AAA games from product inception through to release Ability to evangelize features you own across the organization Understanding of a product’s user base and player behaviors Experience in designing and balancing complex systems for AAA games Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organizational and workload management skills Very good English (at least b2) Bonus Factors
Shipped a AAA title using UE3/4 Knowledge of UE4 Blueprint Scripting Experience in leading by player centric design A background in game theory and the science behind the design
