Title:Senior Export Contract Manager

Location:Stevenage or Bristol

Onsite Requirements:2-3 days per week on-site with additional monthly travel abroad (1-2 days per trip)

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplishedSenior Export Contract Managerto oversee and drive critical defense export contracts. As a pivotal member of the Export Contract Management (ECM) team, you will take on a high-impact role, managing delivery and compliance of a large defense acquisition program.

This Senior Export Contract Manager position is integral to ensuring seamless contract execution, maintaining client satisfaction, and upholding project integrity across international boundaries. You will lead contract delivery efforts in a high-stakes environment, directly influencing operational success by liaising with international government and military clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as theprimary commercial interfacefor the contract, managing cross-functional contracts and supporting long-term client relationships.
• Leadcontract negotiationsand be responsible for customer acceptance events, coordinating transport, delivery, and payment structures.
• Overseerisk and opportunity management, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution of any contract issues.
• Work closely withinternal teams and international stakeholdersfrom multiple European countries promoting a coherent approach to export contract delivery.
• Provideline managementto 1-3 Export Contract Managers (ECMs), offering mentorship and guidance to ensure effective contract execution.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience indefense or aerospace contracts, with a particular focus on export contract management in international settings.
• Strongcommercial acumenwith strategic, forward-thinking ability to navigate and influence complex, politically sensitive environments.
• Extensive experience withbid and contract delivery, ideally possessing Business Bid Authority experience.
• Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with large organizations across departments such asfinance, legal, export control, and project management.

Benefits:

• Salary: £60,000-£70,000
• Company Bonus: Uup to 27% of base salary
• Car Allowance: £300/month
• Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%
