Would you like to join a global aerospace and defence organisation? Do you want to work as part of an organisation protecting people and maintaining maximum national security?

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for Multiple Detail Designers to add to their talented, hardworking team in Glasgow (Hybrid working or Fully remote) on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rates:

Detail Designer offering £36.23 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella
Senior Detail Designer £41.41 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella

The role:

Deliver design solutions in line with the design intent, ensuring consideration of through life stakeholders (e.g. operations, commissioning, support, RN).
Work within mandated design constraints such as design rules and acceptance requirements and manage non-adherence through the correct process.

Skills:

To succeed within this role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

Min two years Maritime / Naval industry knowledge
3D CAD Design Foran experience essential (at least 5 years experience for the Senior role)
Outfit or Structures or Electrical only (Piping requirements have been filled)
