About the Role

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Mechanical Design Engineerto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in mechanical design, problem-solving, and project management to deliver optimal solutions for complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development:Lead the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and products, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and quality requirements.
• Technical Leadership:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, driving best practices in design and engineering methodologies.
• Project Management:Manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely completion and effective collaboration across departments.
• Prototyping & Testing:Develop prototypes and conduct performance testing, analyzing data to refine and improve designs.
• Continuous Improvement:Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Documentation & Standards:Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on FEA and DFMEA.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, injection molding).
• Proven experience with prototyping, testing, and product validation.
• Soft Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
