SENIOR CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER

New opportunity available for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join a consultancy who support key players in the Defence, Aerospace and Critical Infrastructure industries.

  • Hybrid role – 2 days a week on-site
  • Rugby based
  • Up to £90,000
  • SC clearance required
  • 24/7 Shift Pattern, working a rotation of Mornings, Evenings & Nights
  • Joining an on-call support rota

About the Role:
As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll utilise your 8+ years’ experience in multiple cybersecurity domains and share your experience in design, architecture, deployment, configuration and management of security products with junior colleagues.

Some of the Senior Cyber Security Engineer responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and integrating Arcon EAM/PAM (or other PAM tools) with different management and authentication tools
  • Deploying and maintaining access and security policies via PAM tools
  • Coordinating with users to resolve trouble tickets and investigating issues raised by customer/team, as well as isolating and resolving PAM incidents with proper RCA.

Strong experience in either of the following skills:

  • Proven experience in PAM tools, ideally with a focus on Arcon Endpoint Privilege Management (EAM) and PAM management
  • Understanding of identity and access management, security principles and privilege access controls
  • Experience in GRC, compliance management, and audits
  • Knowledge of ITIL process in management incident, change and problem management
  • Experience with HMGSPF, JSP 440, JSP 490, NCSC ten steps to cyber security, or MOD Cyber Security Directives is desired
  • Any Cyber security certifications such as SANS, ISACA, ISC2, CISSP, GIAC, CISA, or CISM is advantageous
