This is your chance to lead the Satellite Services division at one of the world’s most pioneering space companies. As a member of the Executive Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering mission-critical services for our fleet of satellites and ensuring our customers achieve their goals — from Earth observation to lunar communications and beyond.

This will provide the opportunity to lead on a range of missions from high-resolution Earth imaging and satellite-based communications to scientific discovery and navigation — and now, we’re looking for a leader to take Satellite Services to the next level.

Responsibilities:

As Satellite Services Director, you’ll lead all operations across our satellite fleet, ensuring service excellence under contractual and internal commitments. You will:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of satellite services, ensuring On Time, On Quality, On Cost (OTOQOC) performance.
  • Be the voice of operations on the Executive Team, helping steer overall business strategy.
  • Lead and evolve a customer-centric, ITIL-based service model.
  • Oversee spacecraft operations, ground segment systems, and supporting teams.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for service delivery and customer relationship management.
  • Drive team performance and capability planning to meet project and customer needs.
  • Identify and capture revenue growth opportunities within service contracts.
  • Define and deliver a long-term Satellite Service Roadmap aligned with future market needs.

Qualification, skills & experience:

We’re looking for a visionary leader who thrives on operational excellence, inspires teams, and has a strong technical foundation. You’ll likely have:

  • Proven background in complex service delivery, ideally in the satellite, aerospace, or engineering sectors.
  • Executive-level leadership and strategic planning experience.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and interacting with high-level customers.
  • A strong track record across the full-service lifecycle, from bidding to service closure.
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical or engineering field.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of contracts and service-level obligations.
  • High energy, results-oriented approach with strong planning and decision-making capabilities.
  • Able to multitask, lead under pressure, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

What’s in it for you?

  • Highly competitive Salary.
  • Flexible working policies.
  • 32 days annual leave + BH.
  • Annual Company Bonus Scheme.
  • Up to 8% employer pension contribution.
  • Life Assurance (6X salary).
  • Private Health Care.
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity leave.
  • Multiple Discounts & Memberships schemes.
