Join ADS' Spacecraft Production Team in the UK

Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights? The Spacecraft Production UK department is seeking an enthusiastic and talented RF Test Engineer to join their dynamic Satellite Payload Test and Validation team.

About the Role

As an RF Test Engineer, you'll play a key part in preparing and running critical tests on satellite payloads. Working at the heart of satellite production, you'll be responsible for developing test procedures, supporting the Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) Operations team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly in our cleanroom environment. You'll also have the chance to contribute to the long-term development and automation of our testing processes.

Your Main Responsibilities

Plan and sequence test phases, working closely with the project master schedule.
Prepare clear, robust test procedures tailored to each project's unique requirements.
Act as the go-to expert for all things related to test procedures, from customisation through to operational support (including out-of-hours or on-call support if needed).
Lead RF test campaigns in the cleanroom, coordinating between the test operations team and project stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Test Manager to meet project milestones and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
Support regular project reporting to both the project team and management.
Work alongside the Payload AIT Quality team to uphold our rigorous process standards.
Assist engineers with project-specific customisation and help define test plans and interfaces.
Investigate any non-conformances, help troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions as required.
