Our client has an opportunity for a Responsible QA to join them on a contract basis for 12 months with possibility for extension.

Role: Responsible QA
Location: Stevenage - 100% onsite
Hours: Full Time
Clearance: BPSS required to start
Hourly Rate: £36ph via Umbrella, inside IR35

What you'll be doing:
The role is a Responsible Quality Assurance engineer with opportunity of additional responsibilities as Satellite QA deputy:

Define and perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities, by ensuring correct implementation of procedures and processes, to ensure product quality meets the stated requirements
Lead prevention and quality improvements of Spacecraft Production processes
Operationally lead the project quality team (Inspectors, Operational QAs), giving priorities on workload and escalating issues.
Manage completion of corrective and preventative actions to closure
Drive the efficient management of non-conformance and Cost of Non quality reductionsRequirements:

Manufacturing industry experience
5+ years hands on quality experience
Leadership experience
Planning inspections experience
Project experience is desirable
