A major group specialising in Automation solutions for multiple sectors across Engineering & Manufacturing, are looking for a Regional Sales Executive to provide mechanically driven support to businesses whilst being able to generate new business in your areas. This role would ideally suit a sales/projects/applications engineer with a strong technical/mechanical knowledge and a good commercial acumen. You will be selling a truly unique product in the world of automated solutions who have a great reputation in their world.
 
Reporting to the Sales Director, the sales area for the Regional Sales Executive will cover the South East of the country (Hampshire, Essex, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire). The company will supply all the tools to do the job including company car, laptop, phones, tablets etc. You will be autonomous & will be responsible for your diary. This is a remote role. A good salary with strong commission structure. This role would be ideal for an Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Applications Engineer, Sales Projects. 
 
Role: Regional Sales Executive (Remote)
Area: South East  (Hampshire, Outer London, Essex, Oxfordshire)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + comms + benefits + company car
 
The requirements of the Regional Sales Executive will be:

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be located within commutable distance of our primary target areas. When you are not visiting clients – you will be expected to work from home.
Cultivating existing clients, generating new opportunities whilst expanding new products to existing clients, therefore you must hold a valid UK driving license. Some national and international travel will be expected outside of these designated areas, i.e. trade fairs and events.
You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in generating new business across a broad range of sectors, with the attitude and skills to continually reach or exceed set targets.
Excellent presentation skills are essential as you will be demonstrating the benefits of the product range to your prospects and customers, as well as strong attention to detail, as you will be assessing the suitability of the solutions for specific customer applications.
You will be required to work with the administration team to request quotes and additional equipment required for the order
Complete initial audit at customer sites and report back to the installation and design team for planning and ordering 
The ideal candidate for the Regional Sales Executive will be:

Ideally you will have mechanical, electrical and/or engineering background with sales experience and be technically minded.
Experience in a sales role with technical (mechanical) elements is essential to this role
Experience within automation is advantageous though not essential as full and comprehensive training will be provided.
A full UK Driving licence
Autonomous individual who is organised, self-sufficient, strong commercial acumen
A background of working with customers and seeing through projects from cradle to grave
