Lay and align firebricks, gunite, castables, and refractory tile to build or repair structures or high-temperature equipment, such as cupolas, kilns, ovens, or furnaces Tear out refractory masonry Lay refractory bricks Install poured castables Install gunnable constables, shotcrete, and line with ceramic welding Install refractory material by plastic ramming Operate refractory pumps, gunite rigs, refractory mixers, forklifts, skid steers, etc. Read blueprints or job specifications to be able to perform various welding tasks

Experience with firebrick, castable, plastics, ceramics, gunite, shotcrete/pump, anchor Welding for thermal process applications 2+ years of construction experience Skill in all phases of refractory construction, including gunite, pouring, ramming, pumping, ceramic fiber, and firebrick installation Ability to travel 50% of the time with potential additional travel
