Recruitment Resourcer – Construction Sector

Hours – Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 16:30

Location – City of London – EC4N

Start - ASAP

Welcome to reaching this advert for the most amazing job in the world (it’s not, but we think it’s pretty good…and will only take you 77 seconds to read about it). Are you destined to be the one? Maybe your dreams of becoming an astronaut have faded rapidly and are now firmly shattered – quite frankly, we don’t care – you’re here now.

How would I describe this role? It’s kind of a resourcer, sort of a very good client support coordinator, could be a wanna-be sales person, or maybe your business card will have the official title of ‘Client Services / Account Manager / Sales Support / Resource Coordinator / Head of Didn’t Know What I Wanted to do but Ended Up Here and Love It’.

Supporting a top billing recruitment consultant in our company, the role involves speaking to lots of people on the phone throughout the day, understanding a client brief and sourcing the right person for it. Face to face meetings as well, so that’s also fun. Think of it like running a dating site, but it’s not that at all – it’s working for a recruitment agency in the construction industry! You’ll be floating through our database, job boards, LinkedIn etc. with the inquisitive, curious and enigmatic nature of an Octopus, and aiming for the success rate of a Dragonfly (Google it, I did...). We’re a fun bunch and every day there’s always a story to tell!

Key Attributes – here we go:

Normal, resilient, curious, determined, empathetic, inquisitive, hard-working, team-player, excellent soft skills and telephone manner, strong will to succeed, exceptional interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail. Also, someone who can be themselves.

Experience isn’t everything, the right attitude and drive absolutely are. So, if you are that wanna be Astronaut, we can give you lift off and take you all the way to the second floor and back (of our office – with a choice of 3 lifts..) every day of the working week.

In return, we offer an attractive basic salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

  • Tenure based annual leave increase

  • Quarter end company activity

  • Holiday buy scheme

  • Birthday off

  • Enhanced maternity / paternity leave (once completed probation)

  • Early finish Friday

  • Access to financial advisor

  • Prizes to be won from adhoc sales competitions

  • Cycle to work scheme

  • 1-2-1 training

Sound like you – be great to hear from you.

Negotiating Your Space Job Offer: Equity, Bonuses & Perks Explained

How to Secure a Compensation Package That Reflects Your High-Flying Role in the UK’s Growing Space Sector Introduction The UK’s space industry is expanding at an unprecedented pace. From satellite constellations designed to monitor climate change to cutting-edge propulsion systems for interplanetary missions, professionals in the space sector are at the forefront of innovation that extends beyond Earth’s boundaries. As a mid‑senior engineer, scientist, or project manager in this domain, you’re not merely contributing to routine tasks—you’re helping propel humanity’s future exploration and commercial utilisation of space. Such an important contribution deserves a negotiation strategy that looks beyond a simple salary figure. Today’s top space organisations—whether they focus on launch vehicles, satellite communications, or advanced in-orbit services—recognise they must attract and retain specialised talent. As a result, compensation packages increasingly encompass equity (tying your success to the company’s ascent), performance-based bonuses (rewarding major project milestones), and perks (supporting both your career progression and well-being). Focusing solely on monthly pay can mean missing out on these crucial opportunities. This guide helps you navigate the full scope of your potential offer—understanding equity structures that capture growth, identifying milestone-based bonuses linked to successful missions or technology demonstrations, and leveraging perks that enhance your daily satisfaction in a mission-critical field. By adopting a well-informed, holistic approach, you can land a deal that truly mirrors your high-impact contributions to the UK’s booming space sector.
