Madisons Recruitment are looking for an Office Administrator / Receptionist on a permanent basis located in Watford, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee administrative tasks to support construction projects.
Dealing with daily post both incoming and outgoing
Answering the telephone and directing calls, taking messages and initial representative of the company on the telephone including satellite offices.
General office admin duties and ordering supplies and stationary for office.
Logging postal, computer, and telephone enquiries, entering onto computer system and preparation of hard copies
Logging of contract instructions, entering onto the computer system and creating hard copies of computer files
Relaying all information relating to enquiries and contracts to the necessary surveyors or engineers immediately it is received
Undertaking secretarial duties for the office staff
Ordering plant and materials for sites
Submitting Building Notices, applications for parking permits and other local authority and statutory authority forms
Preparing site paper works and Construction Phase Plans for the contracts team
Setting up priced and itemised breakdowns of work schedules on the computer system for valuations and invoicing
Collecting and submitting information for our own Defect Insurance Guarantee (DIG) scheme
Administering the DIG scheme including submitting the completion notices and distributing certificates
Assisting in the preparation and submission of interim and final invoices
Logging of health and safety certificates onto the computer system and helping ensure training is up to date
Filing of health and safety certificates, training certificates, site inspection reports etc
Assisting managers in preparation of submissions of information for approved contractor submissions
Requirements:

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills/abilities.
Strong attention to detail whilst maintaining accuracy.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to upholding the company’s values of integrity and excellence.

08:00 - 16:30 working hours 
Car parking avaiallbe and good public transport links 
Opportunity for growth and progression within the business 
Salary of between £21,000 - £25,500
