Position: Quality Manager, EMEA Aerospace & Defense
Job Description: As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients worldwide. Role Overview: Arrow's Global Components is seeking a Quality Manager for the EMEA Aerospace & Defense sector. You will support the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System in accordance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain Quality Assurance System data
Handle 8D responses: liaise with customers on quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions
Complete First Article Inspection Reports
Conduct fault trend analysis
Create quality metrics and KPIs
Collaborate with sales teams and distribution personnel
Support new business activities with the sales team
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards, and regulations
Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the QMS
Prepare for customer audits, document findings, and oversee corrective actions
Analyze processes for improvement opportunities
Work professionally with customers and suppliers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet expectations
Generate reports on KPIs and quality metrics
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Management role within Aerospace & Defense
Knowledge of AS9100/9120 standards and quality management principles
Understanding of aerospace industry regulations and requirements
Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams
