A leading engineering firm in Leicester is looking for a results-driven Quality Lab Manager to oversee its metallurgical and mechanical testing functions. This is a senior-level leadership role within a high-tech facility, supporting testing on mission-critical stainless steel and nickel alloy components.

Your Mission:



Manage lab operations including staff training, equipment calibration, and budget controls.

Ensure NADCAP and EN9100 compliance across metallurgical and mechanical testing.

*

Lead internal projects such as the expansion of fatigue and stress rupture capabilities.

*

Interface with cross-functional departments to deliver timely and accurate testing data.

We’re Looking For:

*

Proven leadership experience within a quality or metallurgical lab environment.

*

Technical expertise in Vickers, Rockwell, tensile and fatigue testing.

*

Strong knowledge of NADCAP MTL, AS9100, and aerospace standards.

*

Strategic thinker with the ability to drive process improvements and equipment investment (CAPEX).
