Quality Inspector - Permanent - Rochford, Essex £35,000-£40,000

4 day working week - Monday to Thursday.

Shorterm Group are currently working with one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defence products. They are currently looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with (FAIRS) First time inspection experience to join their team.

Job Purpose:
To maintain quality control within the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to business standards and customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Inspect and verify parts at all stages within the business.
*Conduct first article inspection reporting.
*Manage non-conformance processes for both suppliers and customers.
*Perform root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.
*Collaborate with the team to achieve quality and production targets.
*Support the integration of quality within the manufacturing cycle.
*Act as an approving signatory for the release of related quality processes.

Experience and Skills:

*Proven experience in an engineering background. Quality Inspector with (FAIRS) First time inspection
*Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
*Technical knowledge and experience within the aerospace or manufacturing sector is preferred.
*Previous experience in quality control is desirable.
*Familiarity with first article inspection processes.
*Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
*Keen attention to detail, including strong numeracy skills.
*Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
*Effective communication skills and proficiency in basic computer literacy, including Excel.
*Willingness to learn programming of Laser Measuring Machines

16 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday
Working hours 06:45am-16:30pm 37 hour week
