Quality Inspector- 9 Month FTC

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a global leader in design and manufacturing in Hertfordshire. As the company is undergoing rapid expansion, they require expertise to transform and strengthen logistics operations to support a growing customer base. This role is a critical 9 -month fixed term contract, integral to the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, finished products as required.
Support NPI and product improvements by completing FAIRs.
Identify and document any defects or non-conformities.
Support the wider quality and production engineering team by creating standard inspection documentation.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control processes and best practices

The successful Quality Inspector in Hertfordshire, will have:

Experience working in aerospace or other regulated industry desirable.
Practical hands on approach essential.
Form 1 signatory highly desirable but not essential
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
