Next Generation are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector (Visual) to work with a well-established, family ran business who have successfully supplied into the Aerospace industry for over 75 years. As the Quality Inspector (Visual) you will be responsible for examining products, materials, or equipment using the naked eye to identify any defects, inconsistencies, or damage, ensuring they meet established quality standards by visually assessing their appearance and condition.

    Working hours of the Quality Inspector:

    Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm Friday 8am – 1.00pm

    Duties of the Quality Inspector:

  • Examining products, & components, for surface defects like scratches, dents, cracks, misalignment, discoloration, or improper finishing using the naked eye or with magnification tools as needed.

  • Adhering to detailed guidelines and criteria to consistently identify potential issues based on established quality standards.

  • Separating conforming products from non-conforming ones, marking defective items for rework, repair, or scrap.

  • Reporting identified issues to quality control personnel or production teams to initiate corrective actions.

  • To provide cover and assistance to other members of the Quality Department

  • Willingness to train in other process operations to suit the needs of the Business

  • Ensure one’s own safety and that of others.

  • Cooperate with employer on OH&S.

    The successful candidate for the Quality Inspector’s position will have the following experience:

  • Experience / within a visual Quality Inspection or Process based manufacturing (Essential).

  • Ability to identify non-conforming parts (Essential)

  • You will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to communicate and build good relationships.
