Summary: Quality Inspector

GI Pro are working with a leading aerospace client in Leicester and are recruiting for a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis. Working a days and afternoons weekly rotating pattern.

Overtime paid at a premium - x.1.38 in the week & x 1.45 Saturday & Sunday

Permanent contract with multiple benefits including PPE provided and 33 days holiday including stat

The role: Quality Inspector

Use of common inspection measuring equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, shadow graph, DTI, plug and ring gauges, thread measuring equipment, etc. to perform required inspections
Responsible for a range of inspections such as Conduct In Receiving, In Process, Final or FAIR inspections
Maintain all records & participate in in audits/surveillances when required
Identify and segregate non-conforming product per established procedures
Move completed work to next staging area
Manual handling requirement including heavy lifting work The candidate

At least 2 years' experience within a quality control role
Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing company
Able to read and work from engineering drawings
Able to work to imperial measurements and select the correct gauges for the tolerance
Must be able to maintain paper and electronic records to a high standardThe benefits
